Q: How do I join HUCEG?
A: By comping! Check the next question. You can be a member of HUCEG in three ways: general membership, initiative membership, committee membership. Find out more in the common application.

Q: How do I comp HUCEG?
A: There are three steps to comp HUCEG:
  • Start the common application asap.
  • Attend one mandatory info session.
  • Submit the common application before the deadline. Note: applications for some initiatives are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Q: Do I have to attend an info session?
A: For new compers, attending at least one info session is mandatory to have applications considered.

Q: I am a returning member. Do I have to comp again?
A: Yes, returning members must fill the common application again for Spring 2026, even if they are continuing in the same initiative as before.

Q: What happens after the common application closes?
A: Our Board of Directors will read each application. Some initiatives may reach out for interviews to help comp decisions.

Q: How are applications reviewed?
A: With a lot of energy (100% clean). We read your common app responses and evaluate your fit with the initiatives’ mission. Feel free to reach out to board during the application process. We don’t bite.

Q: What in the world is PIE?
A: Policy, Industry, Equity (PIE) is HUCEG’s mission-focused consulting initiatives.
